Super 8 by Wyndham Richmond/Broad Street

Terrific Richmond location close to The Fan, Museum District and Carytown as well as places like the Silver Diner and Bowtie Cinema. Run down room especially the furniture but a decent value.

Room was clean and staff was nice. They have smoking and non smoking rooms. My only complaint is the smell of what I assume was air freshener in an attempt to cover up the lingering smoke smell throughout the hotel smelled absolutely horrible it was entirely too strong and if you opened your door for more than 5 seconds the smell was in your room permanently.

This Super 8 is convenient to everything on West Broad Street. I wasn't expecting the great hospitality I received from Mike. He acknowledged my member status and recommended a room upgrade. This very much welcomed. I've never had any issues staying here in the past, thus I'm back.

Loved this place! Very accommodating. Clean. In-room coffee. 1st Floor smoking accommodations. I didn't want to leave. Richmond is a beautiful city. Located in an area with plenty of dining options. Beautiful, safe area. I will be back!

Allow me to explain, this was great for the price, staff was friendly and prompt, bathroom was very clean and bed was Cleary made with clean sheets but the top cover had many burn holes in it as it was a smoking room, that's expected but recommended to replace after so many burns, the only real problem was the wet dog smell in the hallways, not in my room but the hallway was horrible smelling but other then that on a budget I would stay here again and again, just strongly recommending that the carpets are cleaned to kill the smell and bed covers are replaced in smoking rooms after burns get so bad. Great location central to many great spots to eat, especially the olive garden is in walking distance across the street almost! I was very happy staying here.

This hotel was excellent for the price. Conveniently located on Broad St with lots of places to eat. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Made our stay much more enjoyable. The room was very clean, if slightly beat up in spots. The only trouble we had was a lack of coffee at breakfast some mornings, and the TVs HDMI port didn't work so we couldn't hook up our laptop. They do have smoking rooms so sometimes the halls would smell of smoke. But our room was a non-smoking and had no smell to it. So it was never really a problem. I would happily stay here again for the convenient location, low price, and friendly staff.

Good motel. Very friendly staff, and the rooms are nice

My car broke down late in the evening and l ended up here expecting the worst. I was very pleasantly surprised. The rooms have all been recently refurbished; new beds, rugs, furniture, bathroom etc. it was very clean. The room was musty smelling when l first checked in but once l turned on the AC it was fine. Great location, surrounded by restaurants etc., and right on bus line to downtown. Only negative was some minor communication issues as the management is lndian.
